Cyprus Weather Report: Temperatures will be around 39-42 degrees in the coming days

Temperatures will be around 39-42 degrees during the weekend and into the new week when it will slightly drop. 

According to a weather report by the Department of Meteorology, covering the period from July 7 - 13th, the region will be affected by the low pressure system and hot air mass.

It is going to be mainly sunny around the island over the weekend and on Monday.

The weather will be clear during the week, and foggy on Monday morning.

The highest temperature, during the period will be around 39 - 42 degrees in the interior, and 34 - 37 degrees in coastal areas.

People are advised to stay indoors, especially from 11am until 5pm, take lukewarm showers, avoid heavy food and drink plenty of water.
