Couple and their mother in-law arrested for drug in Famagusta
A couple including their mother in-law has been arrested for drug related offense in Famagusta, north Cyprus.
The couple along with the mother of the man were arrested after 45-gram of drug were discovered in their home in Famagusta by narcotics police on Thursday during a drug operation.
Those arrested were identified as F.D, 33, (the husband) E.D, 32 (wife) and mother-in-law S.K, 58 all of Turkish origin.
Police said a substance believed to be synthetic cannabinoid type drug weighing 45 grams was found in the laundry closet in the bedroom of the house.
According to report, the wife of the man is sick and was on drug.
They were taken to a court in Famagusta where they ordered to be detained for three days to investigate all the issues related to the incident.
