Brit found dead in home in Limassol south Cyprus
A body of that of a British man has been discovered in Maroni, south Cyprus in a secondary stage
of decomposition on Tuesday night.
The man, described as a 51-year-old permanent resident, lived in his Maroni residence, where neighbours noticed an intense odour coming from inside the home and notified police around 8:30pm.
The man had not been seen for days, according to residents in the area.
Fire fighters were also called to the scene and gained entrance to the home by breaking the door down.
According to south Cyprus police, the body was found on the toilet seat in a bloated decomposition stage.
