Bet worker in Lefkosa earns 10,148TL for illegally operating betting computer

A bet office staff in Lefkosa has been arrested for illegally making unfair profits by manipulating the betting computer for his won personal gain.

Mahir İşçan was found guilty of betting on numbers and making unfair profits by opening the system illegally without any authority in the bet office he worked in Lefkosa.

Mahir İşçan, was arrested on Wednesday for illegally using his authority to open the system and to bet on the numbers and thus to gain unfair advantage. 

He allegedly carried out the act on June 13th and July 8th and earned a total of 10, 148 TL.

Mahir İşçan, was taken to a Lefkosa court on charges of "unjust profits and unauthorized use of power."

He was ordered to remain in detention for two days pending investigation.
