Arrested man who works in Lefkosa betting house embezzled a whooping 900,000 Turkish Lira
Hamis İşcan and his accomplice Hüseyin Doğan both working as computer operator in a betting house in Lefkosa committed the crime between March 2017 and July, 2018 until they were caught and arrested on July, 16, 2018.
They were accused of swindling customers and embezzling their money by illegally manipulating the bet computer.
The men who have been detained for over a week will remain in detention for 5 more days.
According to police investigation, the pair illegally obtained huge amount of money worth about 900,000 TL.
Police said four other people in connection with the case are being searched for.
