10 Syrians caught entering the TRNC illegally

10 Syrian migrants were caught trying to enter the TRNC through the Girne port by hiding in the bottom of a boat.

According to police report, the 10 people all of Syrian nationality who were hiding in the trench of a boat were arrested on Saturday morning while trying to enter the TRNC without authorization.

They were said to be aided by a 43-year-old man who was also arrested and being questioned by the police.

A 28-year-ol truck driver was also arrested in connection with the incident.
