Woman arrested in Lefkosa for beating and breaking her mother's arm
A woman has been arrested in Lefkosa walled street for beating and breaking her mother's arm over family feud.
The woman identified as Calmly Ayş Şahin, was arrested on Wednesday on the grounds that she dragged her mother, whom she had fought with over family problems, into the house and threw her at the door, causing her left arm to break.
Redness and bruises were observed on her face and in some parts of her body police report claims.
She was taken to a court in Lefkosa on charges of grave harm on Thursday.
She was released on bail pending her trial on condition that she sign a personal bail fee of 5000 Turkish liras and report to the police at least one day a week.
