Two tourists die in similar incidents in North Cyprus

Two men who were tourists in North Cyprus have suddenly lost their lives on Friday in a similar incident.

According to police report, one of the tourist, a 75-year-old Swedish citizen identified as Zahra Arabshahi who was living in a hotel operating in Bafra, suddenly became ill at about 4:00pm while he was in the pool. He was rushed to the hospital where he lost his life despite doctors intervention.

Also in a similar incident in Girne, a 72-year-old man identified as Ismail Kaşcı also a tourist in the country and was staying at the Acapulco Hotel, was suddenly disturbed and lost his life while he was in the sea about 50 meters from land at about 4 pm.

Doctors tried to save him but couldn't.

Police are investigating both incidents.
