Two people arrested for drugs in Girne and Famagusta

Two people were arrested in separate incident in Girne and Famagusta with drugs in their cars on Saturday.

According to police report, one of the suspects identified as, Akay Gündoğdu, 38 was arrested on Saturday morning at the Girne-Alsancak main road during a traffic search after cigarettes containing tobacco mixed 100 milligrams of synthetic cannabinoid type drug was found in his car.

In another operation, police arrested another suspect identified as G.D, 22 on Saturday morning after he was found with a substance believed to be a synthetic cannabinoid type drug mixed with tobacco in two kinds of burned cigarette.

They were taken to court and detained for three days.
