Two Pakistani men injures themselves while attempting to cross into south Cyprus

Two young Pakistani nationals have injured themselves while trying to cross into south Cyprus through the water in the Cetinkaya area on Wednesday night.

According to police report, the two men identified as Temur Tahir, 18 and Fakhar Haider, 20 reportedly tried to cross through the water near the Çetinkaya area at about 10:15 pm into south Cyprus on Wednesday night by jumping a perimeter of about 10 meters high.

Health officials quickly intervened at the scene. They were taken to the, Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa for treatment.

One of the men, Temur Tahir, had fractures in his left foot from the wounded, while his friend was treated in an emergency unit.
