Two men arrested with 115g of drug in Famagusta
Two people were on Tuesday arrested in Famagusta following a raid by narcotics police with a total of 115 pills believed to be an extacy type drugs seized from them.
The two suspects identified as UK and CVG were arrested with force after they tried to destroy the pills and escape.
They were taken to a Famagusta court on charges of "illegal drug saving."
According to police report, the police carried out a raid on the suspects after receiving information about their illegal activities on Monday June, 4.
Police said an extacy type drug weighing about 100 gram was found on one of the suspects while about 15 grams of same drugs had been thrown away by the suspects.
Police said they had tried to escape but were later arrested and detained with force.
They were ordered to remain in police detention for 3 days by the court.
