Troodos mountains covered in Snow… (video)

The photo above is Troodos mountains in south Cyprus covered in Snow.... But this is June and it's summer already!! The weather has gone crazy! 

Its truly unbelievable but the weather has truly lost the plot, the low pressure affecting the island has brought heavy snowfall unto the troodos mountains and its the beginning of June the start of the summer period.

It is no secret that lately the weather in Cyprus is not vintage Cyprus, however today surpassed every kind of madness, with heavy snowfall in the mountainous areas of the island.

A video we found on social media just shows the snowfall and slippery surface is affecting the drivers and everyone heading towards the Troodos mountains should be extremely careful.

Low pressure continues to lure over the island with the rain, hail and thunderstorms to continue in the next few days.

According to the Cyprus Metro Service on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the weather will initially be sunny but during the course of the afternoon showers and thunderstorms is expected, mainly in the mountains, inland and in the south of Cyprus.
