TRNC Ministry of Health warns public not to enter the sea at Tusk district in Girne
The North Cyprus Ministry of Health has issued a warning to the general public to avoid swimming in the sea at Püsküllü area
of Karakum in Girne due to it’s higher than normal pollution.
According to an announcement made by the Ministry on Monday, the results of the routine seawater analysis carried out in June found that seawater contained higher than the normal pollution level in samples taken from the Püsküllü district in Girne.
In a written statement made by the Ministry of Health, it was stated that the institutions were passed with the competent authorities and it is said that "it is important for the health of our people not to swim in this region until the results of the second analysis are known".
