Man who tried to set TRNC Central Bank on fire wanted to commit suicide

Earlier in the week we brought you a report of an attempt to set the TRNC Central Bank in Lefkosa on fire by an unknown person.... Following the incident, a man was arrested in Lefke and taken to court and according to him, he had wanted to commit suicide but changed his mind and carried out the act.

The suspect alledgelly threw two pet bottles of gasoline inside the premisis of the TRNC Central Bank in Lefkosa on Wednesday June 20 in an attempt to arsoned the building and was later arrested in Lefke after video footage exposed him.

Police said that the incident was initiated at 7 am on the day
