Jealous husband attacks man with a scissor for harassing his wife
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in Girne for assaulting his co-worker with a scissors because he harassed his wife.
The accused identified as Ahmet Özer Öner, a 31-year-old barber, was arrested on Friday for injuring a co-worker by breaking his teeth with a scissor on the grounds that the victim identified as Can Bacaksız, 24 harassed his wife under the influence of alcohol.
According to report he attacked the victim with the scissor when he couldn't over power him. The victim was injured in the hand and right eye.
The accused who is working in the country on holiday with his wife was taken to a Girne court on Friday on charges of "grave harm", "bruise", "serious assault", "drunkenness" and "disturbance" where he confessed to falling into a moment of madness.
He expressed his regret and was released by the court on bail and also banned from leaving the country.
The injured was taken to the hospital for treatment.
