Four shops burnt in Famagusta

Four shops were razed down by fire in the early hours of Sunday morning in Famagusta.

According to police report, the fire broke out in the ground floor of the building located at Ismet Inonu Boulevard at about 2:25am.

The fire reportedly started at the Berlin Bar Cafe Nargile located at the "İsmet İnönü Boulevard" near Gülseren junction, which then entered an ice cream shop next to it, then to a real estate shop and finally to a Telsim phone Shop.

The fire was extinguished by fire fighter as several properties were destroyed by the fire.

The owner of the bar was affected by the fire and taken to the hospital.

The reason for the fire could not be ascertain at the time of the report while police carry out investigation into the incident.
