Four people arrested for drugs in Girne
The accused, H.K, 32, D.K, 37, M.Z, 33 and N.Ö, 34 were arrested on Thursday last week in Girne and taken to court on Saturday on charges of "taking, giving and saving illegal drugs".
Police in a court report said a drug believed to be "cocaine" was found in a search made by the police at the residence of H.K and D.K in Alsancak.
A substance believed to be a drug of about 1 gram was also found in a search made at another residence belonging to a friend of whom D.K was staying.
M.Z which is believed to be linked to the incident was also found with a substance believed to be a cocaine type drug of about 3 grams while a substance believed to be cocaine type drugs was also found in a search made on N. Ö.
They were ordered by the court to remain in police custody for three days pending investigation.
