Fatal accident at Aslanköy Junction (photos)

Two people were seriously injured in a disastrous traffic accident near the Aslanköy crossroad along the Lefkosa-Famagusta main road on Thursday afternoon.

According to report, the accident near the Aslanköy crossroad, occurred around 1:00 pm.

Two people were injured in the accident involving a commercial truck that hit a road side sign.

The driver of the truck reportedly lost control of the wheels and drove off the road clashing into a road side sign post in the process.

The injured were taken to the Famagusta State Hospital.
