Cyprus Weather Report: Temperature to drop slightly

After reaching 37C on Wednesday, a drop in temperature is expected during the next two days.

On Thursday, the highest temperatures are forecast to be 35C in Nicosia/Lefkosa and along the east coast and 29C in other coastal areas and in the mountains.

The day, which started with some fog and low clouds, will be mostly sunny.

In the evening, some more clouds will form and on Friday morning it will again be misty in the early morning. Temperatures will be a little lower on Friday and remain at the same levels over the weekend.

At night, they will fall to 20C in the Nicosia/Lefkosa area and at the south and east coasts, 23C in the west and north.

According to the Met office, sunny weather will prevail during the weekend.
