Cyprus artiste bemoans lack of recognition, accuses African DJs on the island

Popular Cyprus based Artiste, Tizzer has accused African DJs on the island of not promoting their music by playing in clubs claiming they want to see them become successful first before supporting them.
In a recent Facebook post on Thursday, Tizzer also known as Mr Proper wrote,

In disagreement, fellow artiste, Kevin Tita says the African artistes on the island are not willing to pay in order to receive promotions for their music and just wants the DJs to play their music for free.

The 'blessing' crooner claims he has been in that space before and what helps him is investing on his music for returns giving the likes of Davido, Wizkid and Tecno as examples.

On a positive side, both artistes have agreed to meet with the promoters and DJs to promote their music. Taking this big step is essential.

Do you think DJs and promoters should promote artistes for free just because they are upcoming?

Do you think artists need to pay the DJs before their songs get the waves in the club?

Let's know your thoughts in the comment section.
