Azerbaijani citizen drowns in pool in Alsancak

A male body identified as that of an Azerbaijan national was found drowned in a pool in Alsancak in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

According to police report, the body of a 58-year-old Azerbaijani native was found in the pool in Alsancak, Şht. Munir Street at about 3:30 am on Wednesday morning.

Police report said there was no sign of an alleged assault on him upon an external examination made by a physician on the body.

Police said they believed, the man identified as Gaziyev Sabit may have died from drowning.

The investigation is continuing.
