Air ambulance makes direct flight from Ercan to Czech republic to take a sick man home

An air ambulance on Sunday made a direct flight from Ercan airport to Prague, the capital of Czech republic to take a sick Czech national home.

This was made known by North Cyprus, ‘Foreign Minister’ Kudret Ozersay said on Sunday.
According to Turkish Cypriot media, a special request was made to operate the flight by the ‘civil aviation department’ and shortly after noon the Czech national boarded the small plane for a direct flight to Prague.

We informed the Czech diplomatic mission in Cyprus of this development, Ozersay said.

Turkish Cypriot dailies also wrote that the north Cyprus is willing to co-operate with the international community on issues of health, missing or wanted people linked to international crime.

Recognised or not, here there is a state that will react to all those we should, on any subject. Even if the steps are small, we are opening the road and this is what is important, Ozersay added.
