Two young Moroccan girls illegally trafficked into North Cyprus for prostitution, culprits arrested

Three people has been arrested and taken to court for trafficking two young Moroccan women into the country for prostitution using a tourist visa.

According to report by Turkish Cypriot daily, Havadis, the two young women of the ages, 21 and 20 came into the country with a tourist visa between April and may this year.

The women who were arrested for taking part in a sexual relation for 200TL were being used by a prostitution gang for money.

The suspects who brought them into the country identified as Mahmut İnal, 37, who was on trial for "prostitution" in 2011, Souad Marraf İnal, a 29-year-old Moroccan national, and Muradiye Alpaslan, a 63-year-old woman, were arrested and taken to court in Girne.

The court judge ordered the suspects to remain in police custody for three days for investigation to be carried out.
