Two injured in truck accident due to slippery road in Famagusta

Two people were left injured in an accident that happened on Wednesday morning along the Famagusta-Lefkosa high way close to EMU junction when a concrete mixer fell due to a slippy road following a heavy rain fall.

The accident reportedly happened at about 12:00pm on Wednesday as the truck was heading towards Famagusta.

The concrete mixer reportedly went out of control due to the effect of a slippery road following the heavy rain fall.

The driver and a passenger were injured in the accident and taken to the Famagusta State Hospital for treatment.
