Two foreign students arrested for drugs in Lefkosa

Two foreign students studying in Lefkosa have been arrested and detained for drugs related crime.

According to police report, the Lefkosa Crimes Prevention department during a patrol in Ortaköy on Monday found about 3 grams of drug on the two suspects following which a search was carried out at the suspect's house where about 150 grams of the same type of drug hidden inside a nylon in the kitchen closet was found.

The suspects Majidi Allobad, 21 and Mohammed Al Lubbad, 21 were arrested on charges of "taking and saving illegal drugs," and brought to the Lefkosa court on Tuesday.

In a court statement, police said one of the suspect hid 3 grams of drugs in the pocket which was taken as evidence.

Police said the materials found on them have been sent to analyst to determine what is it.

They were ordered by the court to remain in police custody for three days in order for the investigation to be carried out.

Can't students just do something meaningful and clean aside dealing in drugs?
