Student arrested with drug in Famagusta
An African student in Famagusta North Cyprus was on Friday arrested and taken to court for drug related offense.
According to report, the student identified only as S.O, a teenager was arrested by the narcotics police in his Famagusta apartment on Friday following a search that was carried out on his apartment where a substance believed to be a kind of jailbreak drug weighing about 1 gram was found.
He was taken to court on Saturday where he was ordered to remain in police custody for three days for investigative purpose.
Police said the suspect gave voluntary testimony and confessed to the crime.
