Student arrested for entering the TRNC with fake ID after she was previously expelled
The suspect identified as Mariya Asum, a Pakistani national, who had previously been expelled from the TRNC for the payment of visas, was found to have re-entered the TRNC with her sister's identity.
She was arrested and taken to a Girne court.
According to police report, the suspect was expelled from the TRNC and then re-entered the TRNC on April 9, 2017 using her sister's identity.
The suspect is said to have registered at the Girne American University with her sister's identity.
She was ordered by the court to remain n police custody for three days.
