Police finds ecstasy type drugs in mail package in Famagusta, two Egyptians arrested

North Cyprus police said it has intercepted a package containing drug sent through mail in Famagusta.

According to police report, drug pills were found in a package mailed to one A.S, 22, an Egyptian student in Famagusta on Saturday. Police said about 208 ecstasy type drugs were found in the package.

Another suspect identified as AMOK, 24, also an Egyptian who is believed to have been named and linked to the incident, was arrested.

In a search carried out at his residence, a substance believed to be drug weighing about 2.5 grams was found. 

They confessed that the pills were ecstasy, as well as some incentive-type drugs.
