Nigeria wins CIU Cup of Nations Football Tournament (photos)

The Nigerian football team has emerged winners of the 2018 Cyprus International University, CIU, Cup of Nations tournament defeating Cameroon 3-2 in the final to lift the trophy.

The Nigerian team played Sudan, South Africa, Zambia in the group stage and DR. Congo in the semi final defeating all their opponents in regulation time.

The Nigerian team faced a tough opponent in the Cameroon team who fought back on the two occasion before losing 3-2.

They were presented with the trophy on Thursday May, 17.
