Meet some of the world famous footballers playing in the Turkish Cypriot football league

Though the Turkish Cypriot football league is not popular and globally recognized, it has still been able to host big and famous footballers over the years.

These famous stars who graced the Turkish Cypriot K-Pet Super League have at one time or the other played for their national teams.

Among these top players are; Billy Mehmet of Turkey, Lomana LuaLua of Republic of Congo and Gilles Binya of Cameroon who all played Turkish Cypriot club, Merit Alsancak Yeşilova.

Not left out of the list is former Nigerian international, Michael Eneramo who made a transfer from Turkish side, Beşiktaş toTurk Jogger in Girne.

Another player in Saddam Hussain of Pakistan has also been playing in the country for sometime.
