Man stuck in vehicle after an accident rescued by fire fighters

A car driver who was stuck inside a vehicle following a collision between two vehicles close to Inönü junction at the Beymarudu high way, north Cyprus on Tuesday afternoon was rescued by fire fighters.

According to police report, two people were injured in the collision.

Police say the accident occurred at about 15.45pm.

Driver of one of the vehicles identified as İbrahim Gümüşatam, 54 was trapped in the accident and was rescued by fire crews.

Both drivers of the two vehicles were injured in the accident and taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
