Man caught raping a goat in Haspolat say he doesn't know what he was doing

A 49-year-old man who was arrested for raping a goat in Haspolat on Monday night has confessed that it was an accident and doesn't know what he was doing.

The suspect identified as Abdulvahap Ugurlu, 49 who was working in Haspolat, had entered a dairy farm in the area at about Monday mid night with out notice and then went on to rape a one year old she goat.

He was caught by the goat owner and was arrested and taken to court on Tuesday.

The suspect accepted the crime and gave a voluntary confession.

He apologized for the crime and said it was a mistake.

The suspect was released on bail and ordered to bring one Turkish Cypriot citizen as a guarantor pending trial but was sent to prison as he could not meet the bail conditions.
