Heavy rain causes floods in south Cyprus (video)

It's a small island but with completely different weather. Just as it was sunny in North Cyprus on Tuesday,  It was raining heavily in south Cyprus causing serious flood in the region.

A heavy rain caused flood in Nicosia, south Cyprus on Tuesday. A video was posted online with the roads full of water and the user posting the video suggests caution to all driving through that area.
The video was posted to the group CY Police Checkpoints and everyone who has viewed the short clip cannot believe what they are seeing.

According to the Cyprus Metro Service low pressure will affect Cyprus this week to disrupt the summer heatwave, rain, thunderstorms and hail are on the cards for the next few days.

Cyprus Police have posted on Twitter that the Peristerona- Akaki road will be closed until the weather conditions get better however authorities warn drivers to be extremely cautious while driving through these areas.
