Cyprus Weather Report: Winds continue to carry dust from the Middle East to Cyprus but expected to reduce due to rain

The east and north-east winds will continue to carry dust from the Middle East to Cyprus in the coming days. 

According to a weather report by the Department of Meteorology, it is expected that the dust particles will be reduced due to a heavy rainfall which is predicted to fall by Monday and will also see temperatures drop by 8 to 10 degrees.

According to the report, dust particles carried to the region from the Middle East by means of the eastern and northern east winds since Thursday May 3, would continue but its effect will be reduced due to a heavy rain expected to fall at the beginning of the new week.

Temperatures on Sunday will be around 26-29 degrees but will reduced by 8-10 degrees in the coming days due to the effect of cool and humid air in the atmosphere.
