Cyprus Weather Report: Rain expected over the weekend

Rain is expected over the weekend with temperatures also expected to drop by 5 degrees announced the North Cyprus Met Office.

According to the weekly weather report by the Meteorological Office's covering the period from May 26th-June 1st, the country will be under the influence of cool and humid atmosphere with the low pressure system.

It is expected to rain in some places on Monday next week while temperature which rose to about 39 degrees at the beginning of the week is expected to drop to about 31.

It will be partly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms on Saturday morning, while showers and thunderstorms are expected on Sunday and on Monday there will be occasional cloudy showers.

Other days of the week it will be cloudy.

Temperatures will be between 31 - 34 in the interior and 27 - 30 degrees in the shores.
