Cyprus Weather Report: More storms in the next few days

More storms are expected today, Friday and Saturday in some parts of the island while afternoon storms may bring hail and rain during the next few days, the Met office announced on Thursday.

With a weak low pressure system in the region, partly cloudy weather in the mornings will give way to local rain and isolated storms later in the day, mainly in the mountains, the northeast and inland on Thursday, Friday and during the weekend.

Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to rise to 30C in Lefkosa/Nicosia, 27C in coastal areas and 18C around

No significant change in temperatures is expected for the following two days but on Sunday it will likely be a little warmer.
