Cost of visiting a doctor in North Cyprus has been increased

It was not just the cost of fuel and electricity that was increased by the TRNC council of Ministers on Wednesday, but the cost of seeing a doctor for medical examination was also increased.

On Wednesday, the TRNC Council of Ministers made a decision to increase the cost of a medical examination.

This follows the increases in fuel and electricity prices. 

The latest increase which came as a shock has brought protest from the public.

A visit to the doctor has gone up from the minimum of 80 TL to 120 TL with the old maximum cost of 150 TL now at 225 TL.
