Bulgarian woman arrested in Girne for stealing from her employer.

A Bulgarian woman who works as a cleaner in Girne has been arrested for stealing from her employer.

According to report by Turkish Cypriot daily, Havadis, the suspect identified as Gena Milenoa Kabatzova, was arrested on charges of stealing 430 TL from the house she went to for cleaning work in Girne on Friday.

She was taken to court on Saturday.

Report say she stole the money kept in the cabinet of the residence where she went for cleaning work in the Olive grove area in Girne.

Police say they had received serial numbers of the money adding that the suspect did not accept the accusation and has refused to testify.

Gena Milenoa Kabatzova has been living in the TRNC for 14 years,and had not have a work permit since 2014.

The court ordered the suspect to remain in police custody for two days for the investigation.
