5 People arrest for drug in Famagusta

Five people between the ages of 22 and 33 have been arrested by the North Cyprus police in Famagusta for drug related offenses. 

According to police report, a search was carried out at the residence of the suspects located at Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Sokak on Friday night.

Police said they found a substance believed to be drug weighing about half a gram.

The suspects identified only as; S.O.A, 28, B.S, 33, O.I, 27, I.U, 22 and C.E, 28 were arrested in their homes.

Police say investigation into the incident continues.
