Turkish Cypriot Union calls for the withdrawal of fuel price hikes as TL depreciates
The Turkish Cypriot Public Servants Union (Kamu-Sen) has called for the withdrawal of the fuel price hikes.
In a written statement by the Union's publicity secretary on Thursday, the statement argued that with the increase in the foreign exchange rate there should be a decrease of between 35 and 40 percent in fuel prices.
The statement also noted that the fuel price hikes also raised the prices of all the consumption goods, health and education services in the country.
