TRNC declares Tuesday May 1, public holiday to mark Labour Day

Tuesday May 1, 2018 has been declared a public holiday by the TRNC government to mark world Labour Day.

The TRNC Minister for Labour and Social Security Zeki Çeler held a press conference on Monday where he made the announcement.

According to the minister, supermarkets and other business will not be open after 11am.
