Students who trespassed into the closed town of Varosha sentenced to 7 days in prison by a TRNC a military court
Three foreign students who were arrested last week for entering the closed city of Varosha and taking photos have been sentenced to seven days in prison by a military court in North Cyprus.
The three male students between the ages of 21 and 24 were arrested on April 18 for trespassing into the closed off town of Varosha and taking photograph.
Among them are two Lithuanians and one Poles. They came into the TRNC from south Cyprus.
They will now spend the next seven days in prison following their trial in a military court on Tuesday.
