Reports of Atlas Global stopping flights to North Cyprus false - TRNC Ministry

The TRNC Public Works and Transport Ministry has dismissed reports that AtlasGlobal is to stop all its flights to North Cyprus.

A statement issued by the Ministry on Tuesday says:

The news reports suggesting that the AtlasGlobal company has withdrawn from the TRNC market does not reflect the truth.

The ministry has been informed that the AtlasGlobal company will reduce its weekly flights from 32 to 24, due to operational reasons, as of April 25 2018.

The necessary measures have been taken to prevent any inconvenience due to the change in schedule. Additionally, we have issued requests to the other companies to increase the frequency of flights in our country, in order to avoid any possible capacity problems.

News broke out this morning reporting that the airline will discontinue its flights to the TRNC as of April 25.
