Nigerian politics - One billion Dollars arm purchase??

Sincerely I am tired of this present administration, lead by APC and president Muhammadu Buhari, so the president suddenly decided to approve one billion dollars ( $1B)  for the purchase of arms for Nigeria military, few weeks after the Dapchi brouhaha. 

One is force to conclude that the script is been acted as planned,and another round of quantum stealing,and diversion of funds has just been approved by the presidency.

While the welfare of most military personnel and parastatal are discouraging and dismal, and their recruitment processes a scam,i would have expected the government to sanitize the system,flush out the bad eggs conniving with herdsmen has alleged by Gen TY Danjuma, and wipe out the many lapses in the Nigeria military.

Are our military lacking arms to protect our territorial integrity, to fight against insurgents, and terrorists?, or are they lacking the will power to, technical training, or man power.our intelligence gathering, technicality of our personnel should have been the major point of attention not arms purchase. Our military personnel have showed that they are capable of triumphing when they are not compromise. 

So why did the President approve a billion dollars for arm purchase?, is he trying to divert money for political campaigns in the future, or to equip our military for real, was the Daphi brouhaha used to leverage this money?. 

Would the President have approve this one billion dollars for arms if the Daphi kidnap not happened?, is the presidency trying to pay Boko Haram for the Daphi swap or her faceless and nameless negotiator's bill?

I have always said that the riot in Nigeria military is more than arms purchase,as i know that the buck of this money will go into some cronies account,disbursed in political meetings, and perhaps used for the forth coming campaigns in 2019. Our greatest assest as a nation is our people but this happens to be the least attended to in the scheme of things by this administration.

We hope we wouldn't hear about bogus money transfers from the office of the National security officer, to various politicians of the ruling party(Apc),pressure groups and campaign organizations. If all the previous purchases of arms,and the annual budgetary allocation has done little or no good in repositioning the Nigeria military, i wonder what this will do!.
