Gönyeli - Güzelyurt road to be closed to traffic due to subway project

The Gönyeli Municipality has announced that as a result of the subway project going on at the Gönyeli - Güzelyurt road, to relief traffic on major routes, the road will be closed to traffic on both sides of the road to enable the efficient and quick construction of the subway project until mid June. 

According to a statement released by the Municipality of Gönyeli, the Gönyeli - Güzelyurt road will be closed to traffic until the completion of the project in the Vedat Benzinci region beginning from next Sunday April 29, 2018.

During the expected period of operation until mid-June, traffic to the area will be provided from service roads in the south of the road on the Gönyeli-Güzelyurt route and on the roads on the Güzelyurt-Gönyeli route. 

Police and the Highways Department  have requested the general public to comply with the traffic signs and markers on the roads.
