Fire broke out of garbage in Vadili -Yigitler, Gazikoy

There was fire out break in a garbage area in the village of Vadili -Yigitler, Gazikoy on Sunday Afternoon destroying farmland worth thousands of money.

According to police report, the fire started at about 1:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. Due to the windy weather, the fire quickly spread around the dry grass of the mountainous area.

Fire fighter arrived the area and had a though time putting out the fire with support from personnel of the Forest Department, commercial vehicles, military personnel, locals and the Vadili Municipality.

About 500 acres of farm land, and filed covering about 3,000 square meters of young saplings were destroyed by the fire.
