Cost of living in North Cyprus goes up again

The cost of living in the TRNC for March went up by 0.87%, bringing the annual inflation rate to 12.11%.

According to the data collected by the State Planning Organisation, the cost of living went up by 2.26% during the first three months of 2018 compared to the same period of last year.

An increase was recorded in March in the cost of 353 goods and a drop in the price of 100 goods.

If you go the market now, things you could get for about 100 Turkish Liras one year ago now costs more than 200 TL.

If nothing is done about this current trend now, the living condition in the island will get worse.
