Careless driver drove car into a bank at the Lefkosa - Famagusta high way

A car in the early hours of Thursday morning crashed into a bank along the Lefkosa - Famagusta high way.

According to police report, the incident happened at about 2:00am on Thursday night when the driver of the vehicle identified as Victory Macaulay Madumere, 28 who was driving towards the Lefkosa direction of the road at high speed lost control of the vehicle and diverted off the track of the double lane road.

After getting out of the road, Madumere, hit the steel barriers at the side of the road dropping about 2 meter below the road level before crashing the car into a glass door and window of Capital Bank.

There were five people in the car at the time of the accident and luckily no one sustained seriously injury in the accident.
