Body reportedly belonging to missing Greek Cypriot found in forest area near Girne
A corpse reportedly that of missing Greek Cypriot man was found in a forest area near the Girne - mountain road on Thursday evening.
Greek Cypriot citizen Solomos Apostolidis has been declared missing by police authorities from both side of the island since last week while all efforts to locate him proved abortive.
According to police report, a man's body was found dead on Thursday evening in the forest area in the eastern part of the Girne mountain road, about 400 meters away from a business operating in the area.
Report say the body might be that of Greek Cypriot national, Solomos Apostolidis, 65 who has been missing since March 29.
Police say they are investigating the incident before an official announcement is made about his true identity.
