Big Brother Naija, the votes, and the 2019 elections in Nigeria

I didnt watch most of the big brother naija show, but I tried to watch some of the evision shows, a few of the night parties (I think three or two). The eviction shows I watched were good too, the final show, when Angel and his pair was evicted, Teddy A and Bam Bam's eviction, Rico Swavey's eviction, and I think one other.

I am not one who criticises show, because the remote is alway available to change the channel if you dont like the programme so I wasnt taking all the criticism from some quarters.

I had also follow the online trends from the program, and one thing was a sure facts many online folks didnt like Cee-C, I had been privileged to watch her quarel a few times, she was a character to behold.

From her early days of curving Tobi, to the many kitchen quarels highlights, Cee-C was it, the real double wahala drama.
So why this you may ask?, I had read a lot of glamour for her elimination, and campaigns to vote her out, online the comments were mostly against Cee-C, but I had continually wonder how she didnt only scale through but was the last woman standing, and the runners up?. This got me thinking about the average Nigerian, always glamouring for change but never making any effort to effect change.

Most of the individuals who didnt like her for various reason still didnt vote against her. Nigerians will never inconvenient themselves for any cause, as elections draw closer by the day, I hope the many people glamouring for change of government has taken steps to get their PVC and not just ranting online.

How many of these youths have stayed to register for their PVC, thousands of PVC are yet to be collected in various INEC offices, because the average Nigerian doesnt care. I hope on the day of elections if it rains we wouldnt stay at home expecting others to go vote in the good leaders or the choice candidates we have in mind.

Elections aren't won on social media, not all your vocal skills in argumentation can win you an election, elections are won by votes casted. Go get your PVC, be ready to stand, wait, and vote come rain, come sunshine!
